During the of the RAC TT qualifying at Goodwood Revival, Andy Newall managed to loose control of his rare 1964 Ferrari 250 GTO as he was coming up on the car in front. The car braked earlier than it seemed Andy was expecting, and taking avoiding action to limit contact, ended up spinning on the grass. He nearly avoided hitting the barrier, due to his quick reactions, but the slight initial contact resulted in the car making more damaging contact.

Fortunately he was able to restart the car and more to a safe place.

With the last Ferrari of near similar specification selling for over 20million pounds some years ago, chances are the repair itself will not be cheap, likely with custom made panels being required.

Best wishes with getting the car to it’s former glory Andy!
